On the weekends, instead of renting childrens movies, she and her dad would rent biographies on the artists that would eventually influence her own musical style. Kait’s unique sound has been shaped by such musical icons as Janis Joplin, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, and Patty Griffin. With an innate passion for music and a desire to learn, Kait moved from Memphis to Nashville to pursue her life-long dream of making music her career.
