Jusup Aisaev (Russian: Жусуп Айсаев) is known as a composer and musician who plays traditional musical instruments of Kyrgyzstan (komuz, kyl-kyjak, temir-komuz, jigach oz komuz and choor). He plays in many popular kyrgyz musical collectives and known as the head of folklore ensemble Dostuk which means "friendship". Aisaev participated in the world Asian festival (Shanghai 1998 China), international folklore festival "Yalta-2000", international festival «In the name of Peace» in Osh (Kyrgyzstan). In 2001 Aisaev participated as the composer and musician in the performance "Golden Fleece" which took place in Paris (France). In the same year he participated in the Olympic Games of theatres of the world «a Narrow sight of the Scythian», which took place in Moscow.

In 2002 he participated in the international folklore festival «Oloron Sante-Marija» which took place in many cities of France and Spain. In 2002 the project "Duo-Interkontinental" Switzerland – Kyrgyzstan was set up, in which Aisaev started collaborating with Martin Schumacher (clarinet, vargain) from Switzerland The project has begun in Bishkek and has proceeded in Zurich. In 2003 the project resulted in "the Dialogue-round" In 2004 Jusup and Martin participated in the second international festival « In the name of Peace» in the cities of Bishkek and Osh and gave concerts as a trio with Tadjik doira-player Abduvali Ikromov. And in the same year in a joint concert with American Adam Klippl's Trio and the ensemble Dostuk in the cities Karakol, Bishkek and Osh.
