"Judie is a genuine and heartfelt artist. Her sensitive words slide on a silken guitar and a crystalline voice.” Valentina Del Giudice (Judie) was born in Naples in 1980 into a family of well-known muscians and poets. "Judie is a genuine and heartfelt artist. Her sensitive words slide on a silken guitar and a crystalline voice.” Valentina Del Giudice (Judie) was born in Naples in 1980 into a family of well-known muscians and poets. In 1994 she started playing live, offering the delicate intimacy of her compositions, fruit of her on-the-road diaries, to enthusiastic audiences in festivals and music competitions in several Italian cities. Inspired by the likes of Nick Drake and Jeff Buckley, Judie has proved her worth with her gritty and evocative live performances, her folk-rock world with a blues soul.

In 2006 she left Italy and set up home in France (for Love...let it be said!) In her new home and with her new Trio - Nicolas Diem on drums and Ded Lagarde on bass - she has infused her music with new sounds, rhythms and atmospheres. Judie has not severed her links with Italy, however, returning to Naples in March 2007 to record three tracks for the upcoming album of violinist Edo Notarloberti (Ashram) and the young pianist Martina Mollo (Rua Port'Alba). ___________________________________ Judie is a member of IMIsound Independent Musicians from Italy Read more on Last.fm.
