This led him to walk 18 miles to the village where this man lived, every weekend after school, with the permission of his parent. His dream was to one day leave his home family in pursuit of his musical dreams in the West and sing his songs for thousands and thousands of people. He got the opportunity to finish high school in Freetown, the capital of Sierra Leone, which gave him the opportunity to improve on his musicality. In the city of Freetown he met a Dutch pianist who later became his teacher, and she liked his songs, music and personality, so she gave him the chance to study pop music in The Netherlands in 2002. He has performed duets with famous Dutch musicians like Trijntje Oosterhuis Rapper Raymzter and many others.
He has stood on the biggest stage in the Netherlands: Ahoy, in front of an audience of 20,000 on the same night with big Dutch stars like Marco Borsato. He has performed at festivals in Germany and Belgium. Joseph has appeared on TV shows such as NOS Journaal, Netherlands 3 Rtl4 and The Box Music TV, and has appeared in AD News Paper, the biggest news paper in the country, as well as many other places. He graduated as a pop musician from the Rotterdam Conservatoire 2002 to 2007 with high grades.
