At the end of his sophomore year, Jonathan produced his 2nd Demo Album entitled “Convulsion Heart.” The record included darker themes while maintaining a techno-pop sound. To promote the album, he made his first official music video for the title track. A few months after the release of “Convulsion Heart,” Jonathan was accepted into his high school's advanced Concert Choir. They traveled to New York during his Junior year and performed at the legendary CARNEGIE HALL. During that same year, Jonathan released via his official YouTube a new song, entitled "Somebody," as the official buzz single for his next record in November 2009. It became very popular among fans.
The follow-up buzz single, "Under the Moon" also achieved success. The album's first official single "Celebration" was released February 19, 2010, which also did well. The singles represented a new direction for Jonathan. The new album would be in the pop-rock genre with elements of electronic.
His 3rd Demo album, "This Summer Air" was released on April 13, 2010. "Track U Down" was chosen as the album's final single and achieved moderate success. After airing it's very first season, Jonathan auditioned for the FOX hit TV show "Glee." The auditions were held online via MySpace and eventually led to the Reality show "The Glee Project" which aired on the Oxygen network. After graduating high school in June 2010, "Rising Eon" a new EP featuring 5 new songs was released July 27th, 2010 (just 3 months after “This Summer Air”) to show fans a return to his original sound with some new surprises and twists. In September 2010, Miller announced he would be taking a year off from school and beginning to work in Los Angeles, CA to write songs with Gordon Pogoda (Hannah Montana, The Beu Sisters, Little Miss Sunshine, among others) and Michelle Lewis ((Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff, Raven Symone, among others). He would also be simultaneously working on his 4th studio album. The following month, he filmed a music video for “If You’re on the Same Level,” a track from “Rising Eon,” which had been re-mastered by Universal Mastering Studios. The video, which has since become his most viewed video on his YouTube page, helped pave the way for a 2nd EP entitled “Guilty As Charged.” The EP featured the re-mastered version of “If You’re on the Same Level” as well as a re-mastered version of “Somebody,” and the title track “What Can U Do.” In January 2011, Jonathan filmed another music video for a new buzz single entitled “It’s Alright to Fall in Love.” The video was well received among fans as well. Four months later, Miller announced that he would be releasing a new single entitled “What Were Ya Drinkin’” which was co-written by Gordon Pogoda.
The single was produced by Pogoda and programmed by the 5-time Grammy Nominated Peter Roberts (LaToya Jackson, Randy Jackson, G.E.M., among others). Miller also announced that he would be writing, recording, and producing his 4th studio album with Roberts in Los Angeles as well. Read more on Last.fm.
