Harmonized melodies captivate listeners and many leave the shows humming a tune. Gripping lyrical content inspires laughter, deep reflection and a groovin' good time! This Movement of worldly artists came to together on Vancouver Island in the spring of 2007 when they began to share their message of hope and inspiration through the soothing vibrations of their unique and powerful music.

A couple years later they had toured throughout Western Canada and played at several major festivals including Diversity Festival, Calgary Reggae Festival and a headlining slot performing to an enchanted crowd of fans at Islands Folk Festival. As the project has progressed, Jon Bone and The Karuna Movement have had the great fortunate to share the stage with great artists such as Clinton Fearon, Rootz Underground, John Brown's Body, Delhi to Dublin, Culture Brown, Shane Phillip, IBO and Kindread, Culture Brown, Moses Maze, Randeesh and Goodbye Beatdown, just to name a few. They have also enjoyed radio play on stations all across Canada and globally including CHLY 101.7 FM, CHMO 900 AM, VIBE 98.5 FM, CJSW 90.9 FM and CBC Radio 3 and many more. As they finish up the final touches on their upcoming album entitled "The Power of Music", they will be continuing to hit the tour circuit and bringing it home with their lively mix of funky reggae and soulful ska pop.
