Trubee was accompanied by "The Ugly Janitors Of America" to form "John Trubee And The Ugly Janitors Of America". They went on to release their first LP entitled "The Communists Are Coming to Kill Us", a collection of pranks calls alongside jazzy interludes and walls of sound/cacophony.

John Trubee is the main, if not only, writer of the band's music. John still writes music to this day when he is not working, however he doesn't have the necessary money to fund the recordings, leaving him with dozens of potential or completed songs.
