JJoy saw very clearly that this guy had what it takes to make quality trance tunes, and told Jo to switch to using Logic 5.5 on a Macintosh laptop. He also introduced Jo to Glenn Frantz, who then gave him some basic knowledge on how to use this new software. Within weeks Jo got the hang of things, mastered Logic, and started to produce new material. Upon hearing this new material, JJoy was very impressed and signed Jo to his record label Real Muzik.
He also started a side project with JJoy called Fahrenheit, which was also added to the Real Muzik roster. Influenced by the likes of Ferry Corsten, Martin Roth, Mike Shivers and so many more top trance producers, Jo is nowadays also evolving unique sounds of his own. He is now working in the Real Muzik Studios which is equipped with Logic 8, and two very powerful Macs. After new software and plug-ins are added, Jo spends long hours at these studios mastering his sounds and looking for new ones.
Support for Jo’s music comes from the likes of top djs like Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Above&Beyond, Judge Jules, Mr.Sam, JJoy, Vast Vision, Sied Van Reil and many more. He is currently working on remixes for the likes of JJoy & Kirsty Hawkshaw, Kirsty Hawkshaw Vs kinky Roland-Fine Day, the Fahrenheit remix for Fine Day 2008 has already been considered a master rework of such a great classic from the likes of Armin Van Buuren, Mr.Sam, Ernesto&Bastjan, Jo’s tracks can be found on all the top dance digital download stores plus watch out for more trance masterpieces coming from the capable hands of this promising talent, he has also just started a radio show on En-Sonic every first and third Wednesday of each month which will feature the latest quality progressive and trance tunes, some good all time classics plus guest mixes by top djs from around the globe, the show is called Hypnotic Sessions.
