The band eventually went their separate ways, but not before amassing a strong regional following and recording two acclaimed records with legendary producer Mitch Easter (R.E.M.) Jerry followed up on their success by forming the band Life in General, who have gone on to perform over 1,500 shows in the U.S. and Australia. In 2000, Jerry released his debut solo CD, "Making God Laugh," to brisk sales and rave reviews. He put together an all-star line-up of musicians and hit the road.
Since then he has released two more critically-acclaimed albums, "Rumors of My Death" and "Put Me Together", the latter of which features members of Jars of Clay, Caedmon's Call, and Counting Crows. His live performances are a high-energy affair, featuring tight harmonies and catchy hooks. Jerry has been known to carry acoustic and electric guitars, an accordion, a mandolin, a toy piano and a bunch of other cool stuff — and he's not afraid to use them! Read more on Last.fm.
