The group was essentially Anathematize minus drummer Ollie Coghill, as Coghill was allowed to keep the original band name and reform it with new members and material. Jenkins Theory comprised Ade Porwal (lead guitar, writing, production), Jak Noble (rhythm guitar, vocals, drum programming, production) and Sam "Woody" Woodgate (bass). The band was only ever semi-active, re-recording old Anathematize material and writing new songs on various occasions.

This continued through 2008 and 2009, before coming to something of a halt in 2010. On the 11th of October 2010, founder and lead guitarist Ade Porwal tragically took his own life at the age of 18. This brought an end to Jenkins Theory, along with other associated projects. Read more on Last.fm.
