James Dewees (born March 13, 1976) (also known as "Reggie" & "Klaus", formerly known as "Paco") is a drummer, keyboardist, and back-up vocalist. He has been a member of or worked with many bands, including Reggie and the Full Effect, The Get Up Kids, Coalesce, My Chemical Romance, and Death Spells. Dewees graduated from Liberty High School in Liberty, MO in 1994. He has a degree in music composition from the University of Missouri. He is well known for being the man behind Reggie and the Full Effect, a project for which he writes all the music and plays most of the instruments himself. The band's most recent album is No Country For Old Musicians.

The album was initially introduced to listeners as the subject of a Kickstarter campaign to fund the project. It was released in the fall of 2013 on Pure Noise Records. Under the Reggie and the Full Effect moniker, Dewees "fronts" the metal band Common Denominator from Finland as Klaus, and euro-pop sensations Fluxuation. Dewees was the keyboardist and back-up vocalist in recently defunct emo legends The Get Up Kids, and prior to that was the drummer in the on again/off again metalcore act Coalesce. Dewees also briefly played keyboards in New Found Glory, appearing on their Catalyst album, and subsequent tours. Dewees became an ordained Minister in order to wed Mikey Way and Alicia Simmons.

He toured with My Chemical Romance as their keyboardist on the Projekt Revolution Tour and again on the tour for their final album, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys. Dewees currently resides in Long Island, New York and is actively working on projects for Reggie and the Full Effect, The Get Up Kids, and Death Spells with Frank Iero. Read more on Last.fm.
