He had to teach himself how to play, and that was a challenge because James Clark is left handed and plays a rite handed strung bass. When asked why he played upside down, he said it felt normal and thats the way he always had done it. he feels blindness is a life style not a problem. while growing up, he fell in love with various forms of music, rock, country, jazz, Latin, metal, classical and a lot more. his influences are many, from Michael Manring to sleep to Taylor Swift to def leppard Jimi Hendrix to lamb of god.
you can hear various forms of music all rapped up into one wen you hear James Clark play. a lot of his stuff is doom music but he may also throw something in from a classical peace or something. he is an experimental musician, and in his own words "I follow nothing musical" James respects everyone and everything. James loves the world and everyone in it.
