Hunt has also collaborated with Canadian band Delerium, co-writing a track for their internationally acclaimed breakthrough album ‘Karma’ ,as well as contributing songs to Australian Aria winner Paul Mac for his wildly successful ‘3000 feet high’ project. ‘Auraphonic’ is the first solo album from Jacqui Hunt. The eleven songs were recorded in Sydney, beginning in Hunts home studio and ending up on the classic analogue mixing desk of Aria winner Daniel Denholm, who also provided string arrangements on several of the albums songs. The album incorporates both electronic and acoustic elements, bringing a warm and smooth quality to the sound.

From the Kraftwerk inspired beats of the compelling opener ‘ Severed Ties’ , to the bold Asiatic uplift of ‘The Distance Between’, and string-laden ballad ‘Dark Clouds’Auraphonic is a tantalising pop album of breadth and colour. At the heart of it all is Hunt’s unmistakable voice, an instrument of timeless ethereal beauty. Read more on Last.fm.
