He released his first singe, "Accepterais-tu?", in 2006. The single, a French-Canadian song, "Accepterais-tu?", is Jacques' first offering from a tasty acoustic-rock album. His debut album, Private Paradise, was released in 2007. He's also known as "Gilles' Son" from his legendary F1 racer father Gilles Villeneuve.
There was a very limited edition run of 5000 copies available for purchase from Monday, June 26th 2006 at Jacques' own restaurant, Newtown, in Montreal (which he sold in 2009). He was added to the Canadian Walk of Fame in 1998, Sports Hall of Fame in 2010, and was named Canada's Athlete of the Year, receiving the Lou Marsh Trophy in 1995 and 1997. Read more on Last.fm.
