As I grew to around age 8, I got a computer and learned different things about how to use the internet. The first thing I did was go to AOL music and drowned myself into rap music. I then went to the library and started ordering cds and burning them onto blank discs. The First cd I got was Cassidy: Split Personality.
From there I started up my rap career. My First Rap Name I had was The Kidd. But then that was whack, so I then changed name to Ace. But I did not like either so then I changed it to Vendetta then that was my official name for 2 years.
From there I then wrote raps every chance I got. My first mixtape was called “Bringin The V”. The mixtape was on a cassette with most of 50 cent’s instrumentals from 50 Cent Bulletproof. What I did was hold the cassette recorder up against the TV, turned the TV up loud and started rapping my versus.
Back then I used 50 Cent Bulletproof on PS2, 25 to Life, and Magix Music maker on PS2 for Beats. In 2006 I was sitting in Algebra thinking of a new stage name. I then chose J-Swagga which stands for Jason Swagga. I now also call myself Official J Swagga because there are other J Swaggas out there, but I am the official one.
Since 2004 I was able to experience different trials and tribulations with being in the rap game. Since then I was able to build up my style and go strong. I know have started to progress and build off some of the hate and hate comments I get on YouTube and etc. I probably have over 200+ raps by now and still building on. Since March 2008 J Swagga really started getting his music out there and started put up videos etc on YouTube.
I have progressed to learning how to do graphics, making beats, and video editing for myself because you cannot always rely on someone to help me. I am expecting great thing for me and my music in the future. So look out for me in the future because things are going to start to get big. – J Swagga Read more on Last.fm.
