J RockA and Sarai have blazed legendary stages across the country and internationally sharing stages with other familiar names as The Roots, Fashawn, E-40, San Quinn, Los Rakas, Mistah Fab and Erk Tha Jerk. Behind the scenes in the studio, J RockA and Sarai's acclaimed sound comes from Grammy winning producers such as Father MC ( Mary J. Blige, Jodeci, P. Diddy ), and Drew Correa ( Lil Wayne, Common, Rihanna ) as well as hip hops’ most respected DJs such as Quest Love ( The Roots ), DJ Total Eclipse ( The X-ecutioners ) and producers like Madlib ( Talib Kweli ), DJ Premier ( Gangstarr ), PF Cuttin ( Sean Price ), Nima Fadavi ( Hieroglyphics ), Anon ( Mos Def ) and Zack Crawford ( Twista ).

They have worked on projects with artist such as the legendary Ky-mani Marley, Travie McCoy of Gym Class Heroes, Max of Chester French, Phil The Agony of Strong Arm Steady, Afu-Ra of Life Force, Capleton, Chezidek, Delly Ranx, and more. With continuous efforts of fusing music and fashion, J RockA and Sarai Knowledge were artist representatives that performed at an important merger of hip hop and high couture entertainment. Rocking the stage at the historic San Francisco City Hall's 1st "Where Hip-Hop Meets Couture" Fashion Show Event sponsored by Ed Hardy Clothing and The Source Magazine, JUST BE Records received much notoriety and publicity. J RockA and Sarai continue to rock legendary stages across the country while frequently being featured in many galleries of well known photographers to maintain their iconic imagery in the music and fashion industry. Aside from the music aspect, JUST BE Records stays committed in being involved within the community such as the Youth Speaks poetry organization, homeless outreach, better education foundations, community gardening, organic living education, and frequent guest speakers for Prison Focus Radio. The JUST BE Movement seeks to inspire one another to be motivated in the various processes of community building to help enrich the culture.

Actively involved in many aspects of promoting the green movement and organic living, JUST BE Records advocates Cooyah Clothing, a popular reggae inspired clothing line since 1987, in their launch of an eco friendly line. This eco line based out of Miami, CY (see why) Clothing, brings organic cotton, hemp, and bamboo fibers trendy with their hand drawn all natural ink prints. Mainly known for their hip hop sound, J RockA and Sarai Knowledge have also worked with electronic, dub, and reggae producers. In 2008 they formed a group 'The Pyramidz" with an electronic producer and DJ from Egypt and another artist from Trinidad with a patois reggae style. In 2008, they released "From Cairo To Cali", an experimental album with a mash sound of hip hop, dub, and electronic.

J RockA and Sarai continue to release underground hip hop mixtapes as well as acoustic albums before officially releasing their collaboration album "JUST BE The EP' in the fall of 2009. J RockA and Sarai Knowledge having been creating music for years but have been music driven their whole lives. In 2008, J RockA officially established the record label J.U.S.T. B.E. Records based on the idealism of Justice, Unity, Strength, and Truth Beyond Expectations.

JUST BE || J ROCKA BIO || JRockA is a man of many trades with endless innovative ideas to bring more light and inspiration to the world. Born on the birthday of his father, he was passed down with the passion for life and creation. During his childhood years, many of his family road trips were spent listening to legendary artists such as Bob Marley, Bob Dylan, and John Lennon.

He was raised in Massachusetts where he spent his adolescent years writing poetry and rhymes, freestyling, drawing and spray painting graffiti style art, as well as entering and winning many different styles of art competitions. With his love for music and arts, he found his muse in the hip hop world. In his early teens, he was first inspired by the likes of Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Def Squad, KRS-One, Nas, and Wu-Tang. It became a ritual where every Tuesday he would be the first one at the local record store awaiting new hip hop albums to release.

It became a love to collect albums, with appreciation of all aspects of the artists deeply from the album art to the lyrical content and the production. In college, his rhyming and graffiti styles evolved in Providence, RI amongst a diverse culture that heavily influenced his freedom of self expression with inspiration from the music of Blackstar, Common, The Roots, Slum Village, Outkast, J-Live, Rawkus Records Emcees, Hieroglyphics, & so many others. Underground roots and influences inspired RockA to plant his own seeds from east to west in launching JUST BE Records in San Francisco. J RockA founded JUST BE Records based on the idealism of J.ustice, U.nity, S.trength, T.ruth, B.eyond E.xpectations always striving to continually bring a new sound that speaks to the peoples highest aspirations and ideals.

J RockA's vision of JUST BE Records continue to expand with recognition in The Source, XXL, and Vibe Magazine, production by Grammy award winning producers, and working and performing with the likes of some of the most respected emcees in the games... || SARAI KNOWLEDGE BIO || From the fiery sign of the Aries cycle, cries of laughter and good vibes echo amidst the islands of the Philippines where Sarai Knowledge was given birth ready to rock the stage and rip upon the microphone. It was at the age of four when Sarai arrived in the jazzy streets of New Orleans.

Surrounded by creative souls and free spirits, inspiration sparked in her young heart from the collective dreams and hopes of incredible jazz musicians. Following where the economy was booming, Sarai's family relocated to the northeast where she arrived in Massachusetts. Being nurtured in a predominately religious household, she was raised with a spiritual upbringing. In church she began performing at the early age of nine in choir and plays and also taking organ lessons.

The beautiful four seasons inspired the moods of acoustic, funk, reggae and pop - leading her to writing and collecting music of all genres at a young age. But it was at the age of 12 when Sarai became a hip hop head from the first sound of Me, Myself, and I. With her deep influences from George Clinton, emerged the findings of De La Soul and Tribe Called Quest. From buying underground mixtapes in NY, she became a disciple of hip hop's teachings and took in all the positive knowledge from her lyrical mentors.

Music became her life and pure focus. Expanding her musical gifts, Miss Knowledge bought her first acoustic guitar at 15. Her drive and passion gave her the ability to teach herself to play the guitar, the didgeridoo, piano while writing songs and rhymes, as well as poetry. In high school, she took drama and music class, participated in every talent show and school play, while still actively involved in choir and modeling full-time. Throughout college, Sarai attended The Royal Academy of Performing Arts where she took vocal lessons and always made time to perform at open mics. After Sarai achieved her bachelors degree, she quickly moved to California.

From San Diego to San Francisco, the streets were alive and filled with creative passions of art and music. She was immediately filled with inspiration and began performing at cafes, and clubs while also volunteering throughout the community. Throughout time she worked with various uplifting programs such as Youth Speaks poetry organization, Hurricane Katrina Relief foundations, Homeless Outreach programs, and working with the Boys and Girls club fundraisers. In 2008 Sarai joined forces with JUST BE Records and began taking her career to the next level. Since then the lovable powerhouse songstress, actress, and model that is known in the industry as a triple X threat, has collaborated with some of the most respectable emcees in the game and has rocked stages internationally.

Influenced by vast arrays of genres and styles and inspired by all the beauty, hope, and struggles of the world; she is as lover of life, she's an optimist, a believer in faith, and she always sees the glass half full.
