“I knew that I wanted to help foster kids and this song came to me in a vision.” J’Rose hooked up with John H. Ratliff, who once worked with the Righteous Brothers , and he volunteered to write the music to her beautiful song. “She’s the whole package,” he said after spending time with her in the recording studio. J’Rose has recently been offered the amazing opportunity to work with Rainbow Kids Adoption Advocacy where she will be featured singing her original song, “Heart Song” in their upcoming video.
She has also co-written two other songs, “ I‘m A Lucky Girl “ and “ Mean Kids ”. J’Rose has spent 2009/2010 performing her songs at various venues and most recently performed at “Artists for A Better World“ in Los Angeles. Since then she has had the opportunity to work with Patrice Wilson and Clarence Jey of Ark Music Production. After meeting J‘Rose, Patrice and Clarence liked her infectious personality, her sweet, authentic yet mature tone and wholesome approach to her music.
They wrote and produced her inspirational hit song “ One Step At A Time ”. Clarence Jey went on to write the music to her song, “ Mean Kids” and quotes, “The lyrics and content are relevant and cool. It’s something that I feel a lot of kids would relate to.” Ark Music Produced her music video “Mean Kids“. J’Rose is also an actress and most recently worked on the comedy show, “ The Tim and Eric Awesome Show ” that will air in December.
“I would have to say besides my passion for my music, performing in comedy is a huge desire of mine. My hope is to be on a show as funny and clever as the Hannah Montana show. Until then, I’m just taking it all “ One Step At A Time ” she says, with a twinkle in her eye. Read more on Last.fm.
