Itrium in it's recent shape and form is a mixture of various ideas, looks at how metal should sound like and unbound creativity and energy of musicians from Wrocław and Strzegom ( both in Poland). Previously the band was formed by Mephisto (Mateusz Jasiński) who did the lead and rhythm guitar parts as well as vocals and Paweł Muszyński who played the bass guitar. In the second part of the year of 2007 Itrium went through deep personal changes. Paweł Muszyński left the band and Mephisto had to find new musicians for it. He's chosen Prałat (Alek Foryś) who became the drummer for Itrium. Alek led into the band a new lead singer Rigor Mortis (Tomek Kałużny). In effect Itrium gained a new set of claws! The Trio began the work on the new material for the upcoming demo album.

Recently the band extended its manning by Kostuch (Jakub Kostka) who is now managing the bass guitar. Itrium still continues playing extreme formes of metal - black metal but also adds in flavours from thrash and heavy metal. The band is still working on the new material for the demo album which we hope will come out soon. Stay tunned and riff up your arse! The Beast has risen! Read more on Last.fm.
