Influenced and inspired by the sudden rise of groups like MSTRKRFT and Justice, Nathan McBee (Producer) and James Cravens (DJ), who performs under the moniker Jimmy One Punch, decided to form what they refer to as an electro house grindcore group, Italo Death Metal. The name alone is an artifice, created to confuse people as to what genre the group falls into. Long time friends, the two have been embedded in the Chicago music scene for many years. James has been spinning for 4 years and has established himself as a skilled performer, having opened for acts such as Felix Da Housecat, Girl Talk, Diplo, and Guns N Bombs.

Nathan has been producing music for the past 10 years, working with various artists in a wide range of genres. Together they have adapted their musical talents to create dance music in the likes of Refused, Tool, and Slayer. "We don’t want to make nice music," explained McBee, "We want to make dance music that makes you punch the bitch next to you. Crazy, dirty, hard.

Fuck pop." The duo has released 3 tracks, including a remix of Electric Boom, by British artists ‘The Fouls’, and has several original tracks and remixes currently in the making.
