The band entered hiatus shortly the release of their second album, Evolving into Bacteria.

In 2017, the band, now a duo, released a new demo named "Finite State Dreams" and reinvented itself as an avant-garde rock band with elements indebted to dub, dream pop, post-punk, industrial music, post-rock and ambient. Also releasing the Joy Division-influenced single "Solar Sailing", the band released its new album, Concomitance, in early 2018. One of the band members also releases vaporwave-indebted ambient music under the title >//crevasse。光. 2) A short-lived electronic music collaboration between Sami Khoury, Tom Butcher, and Wes Pearson. "Telemetry", the 9 minute audio journey of downtempo, breakbeat, and analog synth soundscapes, was released on the 1994 compilation album "Interstellar Outback" on ROM HyperMedia to commemorate the 3-day outdoor music event of the same name. Two other 12" Induction releases were made on Orbitrecords, one in 1994 ("Attempt"/"Electrostatic") and 1995 ("Halodust"/"106(remix)"). Tom Butcher has also produced under the aliases .x09, Betamax, Codebase, and under the group alias Heatsync.
