In Wilderness arose from the fertile ashes of some of Harrisburg's most beloved underground bands.The band is comprised of an impressively diverse pedigree, spanning local heroes The Commercials, Espenshade, All American Radio, Koji on the Roof, Dollface, and many others.While informed by their punk and indie past, they are in no way beholden to it. Organized initially as a loose collective, the band has formed into an eclectic 7-piece group incorporating electric and acoustic guitars, keyboards, multiple drummers, banjo, ukulele, violin and more.

Lush, meticulous orchestration, tight vocal harmonies, intensely personal lyrics and carefully-wielded production characterize their arrangements.
