Igor Pasaplj was born in Zagreb, Croatia, 1981. At the beginning of the war in 1991 he moved to Prijedor, Bosnia & Herzegovina, where he picked up the guitar. In 2002 he was admitted to the Academy of Arts of Banja Luka. He finished the 4-year program in 3 years and was pronounced "the Best student of Banja Luka 2005" by the government of the Republic Of Srpska. Igor joined the progressive metal band Heaven Rain as leading guitarist in 2006. Their debut album, Far And Forever, was released at the 4th of July, 2008 by Moonwolf Records. Read more on Last.fm

The Jury called his work "A gloriously over the top dramatic and film score type blend of neo classical high emotion with great early Yngwie style playing – superb stuff… " The first solo album by Igor Paspalj, Gravity, was released by Moonwolf Records at the 1st of January 2010.
