IAMBIA were formed back in the beginning of 2000 in Thessaloniki, Greece by Dimitris. N. and Elsa P. IAMBIA's music can be described as a mixture of futuristic EBM melodies and powerful minimal electro, combining emotions such melancholy, aggression and pride. Their debut CD "PROMETHEUS" was released in January 2002 by Capp records containing 11 tracks. IAMBIA have performed live several times supporting bands such as COVENANT, HOCICO, VNV NATION, ASLAN FACTION, GRENDEL, LAIBACH, PROJECT-X, NEBULA-H etc, while some new gigs are planned for the near future. In the beginning of 2005 Elsa P.

leaves the band for personal reasons and Lupperkaleia takes place in band's line up as a live keyboardist. In the meanwhile the band signs a new contract with the swedish label PROGRESS PRODUCTIONS.
