Because Holy Eyes doesn't want to follow in the footsteps of the popular main urban artists, they really try to communicate through their hip hop. Doing so they are gaining the respect of listeners all over the world because of the mindset they try to uphold. Holy Eyes was born in the year 1995 under the name Heilig IJs. After releasing their first album [Vertaalslag] in the year 1997, they became the founders for the Christian hip hop in the Netherlands. With the opportunity to be distributed throughout the Netherlands by GMI the name exploded immediately.
After that Holy Eyes kept on releasing cd's with several labels and distributors. In the year 2002 Holy Eyes became part of the She'erith Nation, a collaboration of different musicians, beat creators and rappers/singers. With the release of the first album of the She'erith nation , holy Eyes was given the opportunity to explore more what they individually wanted with their music. After a break up within the group, new enforcements were needed and got filled with a new DJ and MC/beat creator.
The tour in 2006 with Listener was the first appearance that was made with TG. Knobs needed to be twisted, bolts tightened and the work was done. The E.P. "Music is Evil" was released on tour through the US on the 22nd of April 2007.
