Hexadecimal is Nottingham-based breaks duo Scott Reeder and Ben Harvey. With numerous critically-acclaimed releases, a residency at the multi-award winning Nottingham breaks night "Spectrum" and a 2007 Breaks Poll gong under their belt, the breaks world now knows all about Hexadecimal. Hexadecimal have smashed their way through the Nottingham breaks scene and are causing similar sonic destruction as they take their sound out of town. As residents at Spectrum voted best club night three times in a row at the International Breaks Poll Awards they make regular appearances at two of the country's most talked about clubbing venture, Stealth in Nottingham and The Custard Factory in Birmingham, both flying high under the Spectrum banner. Hexadecimal's unique production style has created a solid global fanbase which began 5 years agos with their first production success with 'From Home' and 'The Hit' both Sound Alliance remixes that were snapped up by Distinctive Records and the Plump DJ's for their massively successful Fabric Live CD and also for James Zabiela's first ever Mix CD compilation. Hexadecimal breaks fans have been patiently waiting to hear what the boys will come up with next. Releases such as 'Cold Rock/Funky See Funky Do' on Vinyl Addiction Breaks and 'Brain Machine/Deep Frequency' on Heavy Disco have helped to set a new benchmark for Hexadecimal's own productions and possibly the breaks scene itself. A number of new Hexadecimal tracks and remixes are set to explode onto the scene in 2007 on home label Sound of Spectrum.

DJs at the top of the breaks scene including the Stanton Warriors, Meat Katie, Krafty kuts, General Midi and Soul of Man are helping to spread the unmistakable Hexadecimal sound by playing their tracks to audiences world-wide.
