Piotr Kurek is currently one of the most interesting Polish artists, working with old keyboards and electronic equipment to create sound tapestries that draw on both experimental music and traditional melodies, as heard on his already classic albums “Edena” (released under his own name) and “Dalia” (as Piętnastka). His new side-project Heroiny also utilises synths and repetition, but now moving further into club music, with an organic sound relying heavily on mysterious and exotic grooves. Read more on Last.fm
