FOX’s new detective series “The Good Guys” used the track “Grinning in the Dark” in the soundtrack for its second episode. The band was quickly signed to StockXChange Music Group, an Australian record label, and a publishing deal soon followed. StockXChange Music suddenly disbanded in early 2010 without warning and without compensating the band for sales of its first EP. Determined to move forward the band decided to head back into the studio to cut a follow-up that captured the energy of their live shows. “The Filth & The Fury” contains 5 songs, all cut with the band playing live in one room over a period of six hours.
Classic Rock Magazine UK distributed the song “Hot Mess” in the sampler CD for its July issue. The EP was nominated for “Best Rock Album of the Year” at the 2010 San Diego Music Awards. An extensive tour of the SouthWestern United States soon followed. In 2011 the band released their first full-length album, “Midnight Moan.” 9 new songs self-produced and independently funded by the band were recorded in the span of a week. In less than 40 minutes the album explores a wide variety of rock-n-roll subgenres from 60s psychedelia, modern pop, heavy sludge, and even Delta Blues.
Once again the band entertained record label offers even delaying the release of the album for 8 months before signing with a small U.S label. Today the band is currently working on a follow-up album to be released in 2013. An extensive European tour will follow. Their music continues to gain an international following having been played on radio stations in over 22 countries.
