First of all we like to thank JAMES TAYLOR for contributing so many beautiful songs to popular music and for being our friend. It is an honour and a pleasure for us to play his music as an acoustic Trio. MICHEL AZAIS (voc., guitar) is a well respected songwriter from Liege, Belgium, who, besides performing his own material, is known for interpreting JT’s songs in a very authentic way. It is an honour and a pleasure for us to play his music as an acoustic Trio. MICHEL AZAIS (voc., guitar) is a well respected songwriter from Liege, Belgium, who, besides performing his own material, is known for interpreting JT’s songs in a very authentic way. His voice and his guitar style sound rather similiar to JT’s. He started in 2008 playing on local stages and at festivals in Duo with percussionist RAPHAEL PIRE.

Raphael mostly plays a cajon trapezoid built to the specifications of CARLOS VEGA, the late drummer in JT’s Band. While performing at an important belgian festival they attracted the attention of NORBERT BEDNAREK, a long time fan of JT and a skilled acoustic guitarist and harmony singer from nearby Germany, who now completes the sound of the new TRIO named HANDY MEN after one of James’s well known cover songs.
