Gypsy Guerrilla Band

Gypsy Guerrilla Band is centered around the core of a husband and wife duo, Jim and Joyce Lillquist. Joyce began playing the autoharp in 1983 as a method of participating in her husband's passion for music. In 1985 she quit her "day job" and joined Jim as a full-time musician. As "Pick 'n' Hammer" they auditioned, successfully, for the King Richard's Faire in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Soon, Jim was invited to join some others in a touring, stilt-dancing troupe that performed primarily at Renaissance Festivals.

In 1985 Joyce rejoined Jim and others and the Gypsy Guerrilla Band was born.
