.. .. Gugonix: Ein Diener von Astaroth und Asmodeus .. .. [Wellington, Aoteroa - New Zealand] ..

Formed in Dunedin in 2000 and relocated to Wellington in 2001 ,started as a solo electronic project but then joined by Stevie Sypher & other deviants of electro-mechanical mayhem, led by Satan's little helper himself, DJ Nightmare 666 with minions from the [dark]/edge of Reality ; Gugonix conspire to delight and subvert the young and impressionable. Enjoy obnoxious, snotty, red-necked vocal abuse; grinding maniacal aural assaults; and consumer-electronics of mass-destruction... .. ..

Too much Gugonix will rot your mind, children... .. .. LIVE REVIEW: Stichface, GUGONIX and Blackchrome Friday 4 June 2004 Valve .. The Gugonix were insanity.

A constant drone was kept by a trombone whilst over the top a guitar, a bass, a drum machine, maybe a turntable, a hit of a synthesiser and two angry assed vocalists filled in a wall of noise. They were unlike any other "experimental" metal act I’ve ever seen. Their outfits were somewhere between the Trenchcoat Mafia and Gwar, yet I felt a little tinge of Manowar being flung at me. It was as if the phantom of the opera found a synthesiser not an organ.
