Gog of Magog
Gog of Magog
Oli at the voices and guitars had already recorded some material and Stass who would have never bet anything on being the first G.O.M. freak. During a short period, the young duet only see itself as a tribute band with Black Sabbath, Motorhead and White Zombie's covers. That's why they first wanted to call the project Thunderkiss, according to this latest nineties band.
They finally prefered to pay a more powerful tribute to the bands that gave them hope during troubled milky years in doing their own songs. For the anecdote, the first rehearsals took place during the summer 2002 in an old woodcraft factory, whose acoustic quality allows true small concerts each time. First important leap, Gog of Magog recorded a first demo in november 2004 as a trio with bassist Alexander Charles Elie Nelson on good old tapes in the famous André Gielen's Hautregard Studio (Lofofora, Mass Hysteria, Channel Zero etc.) In march 2005, Stass announces his will of moving to Quebec. The band has finally found a really good new drummer in 21 year old Pierre-E. Marechal who had never really played in a band before but whose talent is undoubtable.
GOM is presently looking for shows and is composing new stuff in the mean time. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply..
