The following year she debuts "Simple Step", followed one year later with a second title (a collaboration on an album by Florent Pagny.) Her work ends up paying when it is committed to play in the musical "the Ten Commandments". In 2002, she records a duet with Ray Charles. Marked by the first steps of Ginie to the cinema in "Alive" as well as sharing a series in concerts which carried out to the four corners of France. The dedication arrives in 2005 with the exit of her first album solo "Play" on which is featured her younger sister, Caroline (born 1979). Chose her pseudonym: Ginie as the end of her real first name, and Line as the end of her sister's first name.
