In 2002, the project seduced Joachim Garraud, successful producer/remixer (David Guetta, Jean-Michel Jarre...) who became with Gaël co-producer of the first album of Geyster. Signed with Virgin France, the band performed regularly promoting their first hit single “Bye Bye Superman” which was airplayed all over Europe the whole summer of 2003. Followed up 2 more singles ("It's About You" & "John Clay") and finally their first album “I Love 1984” released in spring 2004. In 2005 Gael founded his own label : Somekind Records through which he will release “Under The Fuse Of Love” the first single of the new album called “Everytime I See Your Face” which will follow up early 2007… GAEL Gaël (30) is a singer-songwriter, a producer (Geyster Productions / Somekind Records) and a multi-instrumentalist (keyboards, guitar, bass, drums). He is currently a journalist for the French Keyboards Magazine where he writes reviews about audio gears and musical instruments.
He attended the C.I.M. jazz school in Paris and had a private jazz piano education with Samy Abenaim (co-founder of the Bill Evans Piano Academy). Mainly influenced by Steely Dan and music from the 70’s and 80’s in general, he’s been writing songs since he was 14. Gael was born and raised in Paris where he lives. PERNILLA Pernilla (31) is a singer and recently founded her own jazz quartet and performs live in small jazz clubs in Paris.
She has studied mostly jazz harmony and vocal techniques in different music schools. Her influences go from Frank Sinatra to Joao Gilberto and the Latin Music genre.
