Gabi and The Whoremoans started off with Gabi (vocals/rhythm guitar), Oz (lead guitar/backing vocals) and Spud (bass/backing vocals) playing covers for a friends 60's themed birthday party; they were later invited to perform for Vic Coppersmith (producer of the Jam, Elton John and many more). Local gigging soon began at The Cartoon in West Croydon, even though the Whoremoans were without a drummer and needed one! Local gigging soon began at The Cartoon in West Croydon, even though the Whoremoans were without a drummer and needed one! Luckily Josh Asprey came on to the scene two weeks before the gig to help out, and the rest is history! Gabi & the Whoremoans have played at The Black Sheep Bar in Croydon, The Tunbridge wells Forum, The Oh! Bar in Camden, at the University of Kent at Caterbury and The Ministry of Sound, as well as at several minor festivals and open-air concerts. Unfortunately situations changed and Josh parted ways with the Whoremoans; after a few incarnations, Gabi and The Whoremoans have evolved into a tight, competent and professional heavy rock band. xx Read more on Last.fm.
