Behind GAD. there are five people with Greek origin and a quite long musical story each: Hercules Anastasiadis, the half of Atria and for many years a musician, composer and dj, Kostas Antoniadis, singer of the rock act Narrow Paths, as long as Spyros Papakotsis, Mike Semertzoglou, Antonis Antoniadis (former member and guest appearance by Athan Hilaki-TC). In spring 2005 Hercules and Kostas (long time friends and collaborators in Kostas' band, Narrow Paths) decided to create a track together for the 'Greek Electro 02' compilation, a cd series with the best of the Greek electro acts. "What Hides In There" was the result and the track was chosen as the first single to come out of this compilation. GAD.

was named such, a little before the Greek Electro 02 cd booklet was written... Summer 2005 GAD. created the songs of their first album. This was finished with all songs being sung from Kostas' wonderful, very "northern", warm voice... Then guys did a couple of collaborations with various singers, something to add a creative flash to the album...

This wonderfully creative process was the voice of Dioni from Astyplaz sung "Dont Forget to Live Before You Die", Apostolina Mai from Ammos shared vocals on "Leslie", Debora E.C. Zeier from Switzerland sung and played e-cello on "Noone Knows Your Name", Daphne Gerogianni sung on "No Songs For Her'' and Nomik from Sleepin' Pillow sung on "Safe". They have performed live on stage at the Greek Electro Festival 2006, at Coca Cola Soundwave Festival 2007 on Syntagma Sq. (European Music Day 2007), EarthDance Festival 2007 and they opened Nouvelle Vague and Chicane. "System May Fall" was released at December 2006 on Archangel's sub label Shift Records. "THE PERFECT TIME" was released May 18th 2010 - new album! Lately, they co-produced the Pop Eye's debut album. Influences: Depeche Mode, Cure, Moby, Vince Clark, Anne Clark, Royksopp, Inspiral Carpets, 90s British Indie movement... Μέσα σ'αυτούς τους πρώτους μήνες της ύπαρξης τους, οι Gad συνέθεσαν τη μουσική για την ταινία μικρού μήκους "Αποχαιρετώντας" της Ρηνιώς Δραγασάκη, η οποία συμμετείχε στο φεστιβάλ ταινιών μικρού μήκους της Δράμας, ενώ έχουν φιλοξενηθεί ως dj's σε διάφορα αθηναϊκά στέκια.
