In 2003 they won the "Best Live Album" trophy at the Australian Live Music Awards. Fruit are Mel Watson (lead vocalist, horn player, song writer), Susie Keynes (lead vocalist, guitarist, song writer) and Sam Lohs (lead vocalist, acoustic guitarist, song writer). The Swedish 60s-pop group Fruit was started in 1967 in Täby, Sweden and disbanded in 1971. Among their members were Mecki Bodemark (Mecki Mark Men) and members of later progg band Bättre Lyss.
3. The English group Fruit was a one-time side band for former Kitchens of Distinction leader Patrick Fitzgerald. He only released one album under the Fruit moniker before continuing on other projects. 4. The German band began in the late 1990s.
Members are Bertil Mark (drums, percussion), Catenia Quentin (vocals), Frank Rill (guitar), Mark Rill (bass), Andreas Velte and Christian Walter (both keyboards, effects, noises).
