In the meantime the band grows on until the achievement of a clearer and more defined identity. The original irony and contaminations lead to a precise genre: the bastard pop. Arisen in the latest years from the English music scene and always prerogative of djs, the bastard pop, in its purest form, consist in mixing more or less famous songs in order to create something new and shocking. Fratelli Sberlicchio manage to move bastard pop from the console to the stage, becoming the pioneers of this experimentation in Italy. That’s how the band succeeds in mixing such songs as “Tanta voglia di lei” by Pooh with “Tutti i miei sbagli” by Subsonica or “The four horsemen” by Metallica with “Svalutation” by Adriano Celentano. The maturation of the band becomes concrete in 2005 whit their second album, "Discodelirio", distributed by the label Alternative Venus. After that, the band takes part to many tv shows such as Play It (All Music) and Markette (La7). In the meanwhile in August 2005 Fratelli Sberlicchio, with the collaboration of the director Jassen Nannini, make their first low budget video called "I Cantieri su Torino".
Thanks to the more than 10000 downloads of it during the first week online, the band conquers the homepage of Mtv's Italian site. In February 2006, on the occasion of the Olympic Winter Games, the band is on the stage in Medals Plaza, supporting Jamiroquai. In June 9th 2006 the band performs at Chicobum Festival in Borgaro Torinese in front of 10000 people.
