Frankie Patella was born in 1972. He grew up in Offenbach and started DJing at the age of 16. He's been playing and listening to house music since it started to get popular in Europe around 1987, he witnessed the summer of love, the acid hype and the techno euphoria. Despite his mother's prohibition he managed to get into Frankfurt's hottest club at this time, the OMEN, where he became a follower of Sven Väth.

Some years later, he spreaded his horizon by stockin up his back catalogue on the flee markets, and began to develop a faible for disco tunes and commercial easy listening à la James Last, of whom he owns over 120 records. Influenced by his friend BODO ELSEL, who soon was getting deeply involved in erecting a phat home studio, Frankie began experimenting in creating his own tracks. In 1997, Frankie produced his first "album" using his PC and the fabulous Magix Music Maker software. This opus was redistributed as audio cassette by brack recordings in 1998.

Around this time Frankie had his first vinyl releases on Zehnkampf and Infarkt, and became resident DJ at rotari, Offenbach. Since 1993 he is a member of the Wildpop Sound System, who played at locations all over Germany. Since Frankie has a full time job, his musical output has rapidly decreased. There might be a new release in 2007.
