After graduating college with a bachelors degree in geology, he worked at soils engineering and environmental consulting companies. He bought a 4-track tape recorder and began putting together some lo-fi albums featuring mostly guitar and vocals with a very limited release. In 2010, after a long musical hiatus, he began work on his first digital album "Jet Line Comets" which was released in the summer of 2011. He plays all original material in an eclectic spacey finger picked style, primarily on acoustic guitars. Stand out influences include Pink Floyd, Neko Case, Kingston Trio, REM, The Verve and The Shins.
