Pivotal moment was the gig Foxylane played at the Pukkelpop festival 2006: the indierock-crowd went ape-shit for Foxy’s synths & beats. Result: the summer of 2007 saw the nightlife-band playing rockfestivals all over the country. A triumph? Yep. Mission accomplished? Hell no.
The past year, Foxylane has built a recording studio, a comfort zone in which the band is currently retreating to write and record a full debut album. Production work for kindred spirits has been done there as well (The Glimmers, ‘The Salmon Dance’ by The Chemical Brothers - The Glimmers Remix)). Foxylane are: Stefan Bracke aka Entrepreneur. This band is all about performing. I’m crazy about all the rock ‘n’ roll-clichés. My favourite bands are the gangs that come straight from the cellars and bars, playing dirty and raw shows. And I love spectacle.
Going to a NIN-show or a Justice-gig is all about being entertained, no? We want to entertain you. Badly. And with the album, we want to serve our fans the most powerful songs they’ve heard in a long time.’ Foxylane debut album: Spring 2008. Read more on Last.fm.
