FEUERBERG is the child of Newton Schner, most known for projects like Lebensesessenz (neo-classical), or Inmitten Des Waldes (depressive black metal.)
Schner plays all the instruments and writes all the music for Feuerberg.
With influences taken from classical music and bands such as Tangerine Dream, Yann Tiersen and Burzum (!) Newton managed to create very dream-like & atmospheric music, which is balancing somewhere between melancholy, nostalgia and… hope. Read more on Last.fm

With the use of “old school” analogue keyboards, real drums, electro-acoustic guitar and piano, he created music which as the title of the debut album says is somewhere “between vastness and void”. Whenever some depressive chords show up there’s always a calm and relaxing part that follows and this symbiosis gives a variety to this majestic music.
