As a tenor he has sung for groups such as the San Francisco Symphony Chorus, Pacific Collegium, Volti, American Bach Soloist, and Clerestory. In 2007 he also had the privilege of premiering the role of Mr. Bingley, in Kirk Mechem’s opera, Pride and Prejudice, for the San Francisco Choral Society in Davies Symphony Hall. Other highlights include performing and touring with the three-time Grammy-Award-Winning, Pacific Boychoir through Denmark, Hungary, Brazil, Italy and Argentina. In 2007 Mr.
Tarango completed his first solo album, Bachelor of Music, followed in 2009 by the second solo-album, Freudian Slip after which he moved into an RV for a couple of months and geared up for his first singer songwriter tour through, California, Utah, Wyoming and Colorado in June 2009. At the end of the tour he went to Michigan for a stint in organic human powered farming before heading back home to Fort Wayne, IN where I recorded the third album on October 31, 2009. In 2010 Fernando was hired by Holland America Cruiselines as a solo-entertainer, singing and playing guitars in various lounges of the msEurodam throughout the Eastern Carribean. Currently Fernando is independently studying music in Fort Wayne, IN singing in bars, cafés and for various recording projects.
