With influences predominantly made up of the heavy and progressive offerings of 1970s and 1990s origin. Since December 2008, FEED has cut a calculated path into Brisbane’s music scene, traversing the city's musical landscape and exploring any avenues offered or revealed to them. This approach afforded the band members a clear understanding of how the music industry beast breathes in Brisbane. In April 2010, FEED entered Brisbane’s Iconic Black Box Studio’s, to lay down the tracks that would later become their debut EP 'All At Once Dreaming' Mixed by Matt Taylor Recordings Brisbane and Mastered at West West Side Music New York by the renowned Alan Douches. The release date was originally set for November 2010, however this date had to be put on hold after one of the founding members, Joshua, left the band due to competing interests between personal life and band life. In March 2011 Joshua was replaced by Robert Baker.
In March 2012 FEED annouced the launch of their EP 'All At Once Dreaming'. This launch will consist of two dates and venues Queensland Australia. The first in Brisbane, at the Beetle Bar on the 27th of April; and the second on the Gold Coast, at Miami Tavern - Shark Bar, on the 12th of May.These two sets will include all of the songs on the forth coming EP, as well as a show case of the bands new material All at Once Dreaming, is a catharsis of calculated aggression and delicate dynamics. The inspiration drawn from 70's prog, 90's alternative and current post rock/metal has produced a rich, textured body of work; featuring ominous, dissonant guitars, solid creative drumming, organic bass lines and dynamic vocals laced with biting socio-political commentary.
