Fatima meets Kuriaki is a new tandem created by Fatima Eiras & Ander Kuriaki. Both have another music projects, however, when they first met in a recording studio they started to talk about doing music together, a collaboration that would have nothing to do with other activities. Their aim was to create music almost like a film, with a cinematic mood. That´s how their first e.p "Hi, stranger" has been grown.

Kuriaki works really precisely, every track is a mixture of many different experiments and tricks with the use of many different production techniques, within tracks. They are influenced by Ennio Morricone, Portishead, Massive Attack, Air, french pop & more. Fatima's the voice melody composer, adding a touch of sensuality and personality that meets Kuriaki their distinctive style. Fatima Meets Kuriaki have signed to London based independent record company Thirteen[rec] ( http://thirteenrec.com/fatimameetskuriaki ) Their first single Skyline is set for release in March, followed by second and third singles: Ephemeral and Covenant. Forthcoming album also due to be released in summer 2008. Read more on Last.fm.
