Face of Christ

Face Of Christ is a musical militia from the VXHC scene based in Vicars Cross, Chester, UK. They began their reign of terror in 2002 and have grown like an army ever since. They play a blend of Black Flag, Kill Your Idols, Biohazard and F Minus. Their songs are two minutes or less ghetto fairy tales covering subjects such as derailing a train, being the alpha male and their evolutionary singalong "Fuck Kill Eat".

Two of their personal favourite songs are "Dead Meat", a song aimed at hardcore scene kids and "fight dancers" that ironically has a beatdown that can be "two-stepped" to, and their gem in the crown "Patrick Bateman" which is a tribute to their much revered hero Christian Bale and his character in American Psycho. In 2009 the band moved from horrorcore gore anthems toward more street sensible songs that reflect anger and despair at society and an attempt at re-educating indoctrinated masses. A change of members and roles has taken the band to a new level of integrity and musical professionalism. The unique thing about FOC is that their biggest fans are classed as members, making them more than just a band...they are a gang.
