Europa Galante presents itself in the world, in major halls and theaters: Scala of Milan, Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Royal Albert Hall in London, Musikverein in Vienna, the Lincoln Center New York and the Sydney Opera House. Tours conducted in several countries, including Australia, Japan, Canada, Israel, USA and South America (Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia and Uruguay). Collaborates with the Accademia di Santa Cecilia for the recovery of Italian works of the century. XVIII, as The Passion of Antonio di Gesù Cristo Caldera and Sant'Elena al Calvario of Leonardo Leo.
The Europa Galante's repertoire includes the great instrumental works of the century. XVIII, operas of Handel (Poro) and Vivaldi (Bajazet) and speaking of Alessandro Scarlatti (Maddalena, humanitarian and LUCIFERO, Cain). The group defines itself as a "structure variable, including its method of working in a close study and a careful selection of chamber music. To mention this area, the considerable success of the recordings of Boccherini Quintet and Sonatas of Dario Castello, Legrenzi, Farina and other Italian composers of the century.
XVII. After several years of collaboration with the publisher Opus 111, in 1998 the group signed an exclusive contract with Virgin Classics, and now released for Estro Armonia and Violin Concertos of Vivaldi, Boccherini Quintet in and a collection of arias from Cantatas of J. S. Bach, with the tenor Ian Bostridge.
In spring 2001, the Europa Galante began the week of church music from Cuenca, Spain, with the debut of the modern oratorio La Santissima Trinità of Alessandro Scarlatti. Followed by a tour in Italy with the full interpretation of Vivaldi Estro Armonia. Europa Galante and its director, Fabio Biondi, won the 21st Franco Abbiati Prize for their work in 2001 and the interpretation of Trionfo dell'onore of Alessandro Scarlatti in the Scarlatti Festival in Palermo. 08 March 2004 Read more on Last.fm.
