There are three artists named Escape Velocity: 1) Escape Velocity is a skate punk band. It originally consisted of a duo of Aaron Garcia and Andrew Palmer, who released one EP, "Colors In The Atmosphere" in 2012. Their song "July 31", written on the death and impact of Tony Sly, has achieved some small acclaim in the skatepunk community. In 2014, Aaron replaced Andrew with Ethan Gibson, Bryce Hartley, Nick Shanks, and Trent Smith, releasing the EP "Generation Death" in 2014. Read more on Last.fm

The line up eventually changed as Nick Vuno became the new bass player. They mostly played in Rochester, NY. 3)Escape Velocity is the Ambient project of Tilemachos Vlachos and Dimitris Theodoropoulos. Melancholic Harmonic Ambient blended with Experimental Glitches.
