There are/were at least three artists by the name of Engage. 1. Engage is Dmitry Nekrasov from Saint-Petersburg, Russia. Heavily influenced by the likes of Corrupt Souls, Phace, Noisia and Spor among others during the neurofunk movement in 2004/2005, his desire to make music was unstoppable and he quickly focused his time and efforts to writing music and production. Engage was an old school hardcore band from Dundee in Scotland and existed from 96 - 06 releasing a 7" on Skipworth Records entitled 'when will this end' and a 2 track cd which was to be released as a split with HHH. They featured members of Brocolli, Strictly Prohibited, The Fight Back, The Ritalins, Mercury Tilt Switch, Anthem of the Century & Rough Justice although the only constant member was vocalist Paul Ross. 3. Engage were a power metal band from Virginia, USA. Founded in 2004, they released two demos before splitting up in 2008.
