She joined School, church and community choirs to train the unique and melodious voice that she perceives. Empress Minott has work with reggae artist such as Maxi Priest, Etana, Cocoa Tea, Morgan Heritage, Gyptian, Bush Man, and Capleton. Roy, Conrad Crystal, Sugar Minott, Trilla U, Singing Melody, Blessed, Tanya P, and many other local artists. She also performed in many places like Jamaica, Canada, and America. She also finished both videos for each song which can be found on TVJ and CVM in Jamaica and TV stations all around the world.
Stumbling Blocks have been featured in a Canadian Series called “Da kink in my Hair” which was aired on Global TV on March 19, 2009. She is also nominated for the 2009 Canadian Reggae Music Award. Her styles and grace are attracting many fans all around the Universe. The singer/ songwriter has written and recorded a new song called, "Can you feel it" which can be found on her very own record label Reality Records ltd.
Now residing in the Jamaica Empress Minott is currently signed with Michael “Wagon” Jones the president of Wagon Music Works record label and Bernice “MO” Carter is his artist manager. In 2009 Empress Minott released her first USA single called (YES WE CAN). The single is currently being sold on ITunes, Amazon, CD Baby, and Rhapsody.com. Empress Minott wish is to see her people someday living in Happiness, Love and Unity” she says sincerely.
Living a natural life is very important to Empress Minott. Her desires are for realistic and not materialistic things. She has gone through so many different stages in her life to realize and accepts the fact that being Natural is the Highest Levity in this confused world.
