Eliza the Arrow is changeable. Blame it on Elizabeth Grace Cameron and Donald Eugene Schroader III. Born in the 80’s, they are nostalgic as hell. After nearly a decade of playing in various art-rock contraptions (Forget Cassettes, ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead), these two individuals have taken up sooth-saying as an art form.

When the parameters of being a rock-duo became confining they decided to embrace the other end of the musical spectrum. They prefer the term collaborators over band-mates, allowing the song and sonic imprint to come first and the performance to follow. In this new incarnation you won’t hear the reminiscent guitar/drums/Rhodes/bass formula as used on past releases. Trapping themselves in a studio with paintbrushes and lampshades, they wage a war between the organic and the electronic.

They seek to liberate conventional instruments by twisting them into knots, giving them the opportunity to become something they never were before.
